Hi I am planning a trip to China, the plan is to spend 3-4weeks travelling around. I plan to arrive in Shanghai, early in November, spend a week there, then train to beijing for a week and then down to guangzhou, stopping at wuhan for a few days..these plans are all flexible as I have plenty of time. Is there any places I should visit on the way to these major cities..I am looking to do some back packing as well as having some fun at pubs and clubs, I mostly enjoy hard rock and heavy metal. Are there any rock or metal clubs in the major cities?...I am an 40yr old english speaking Australian. I'm really looking to have a well rounded trip with a bit of everything.. Thanks if anyone can help!!

I strongly suggest you can choose Qingdao city as your one plan,Qingdao is a coastal city in Shandong,it's famous for beautiful seascape and Qingdao Beer. The climate here is comfortable,so many people choose Qingdao as the place for vacation.

Hi Phoenix, Thanks for your suggestion, I have looked at the trains and I think I will stop off there for a few days, is there anywhere in particular you would suggest to visit?? I see on your profile that you are an author of Chinese calligraphy, it sounds fascinating .. When I get there I will send you a message to let you know I've arrived, if you don't mind. Is there any one particular example of historical importance? Thanks again for your advice, I appreciate it Brad
