overstay on S2 visa

guest39253 my daughter's S2 visa is expiring today and I cant get her out of the country until tuesday. what are her options? and if she overstay will she be allowed back in the country again in the future on tourist or student visa?

She might be warned or fined before she leaves China. I don't think it will affect her future L or X visa for PRC. However, the embassy will learn about her overystay and probably reconsider it when they deal with her application.

THere are many reasons for visa refusal. The embassies won't tell you why you are refused. So there is no need to worry about this. She might get refused for other reasons rather than overstaying record. But it plays a role when she applies.
