What kind of special permit is needed to enter China from HK?

Hi!

I read in this website that entry into China from HK and Macao is subject to a special permit.

I have an L (tourist) visa. I'm staying in Hong Kong for one day and then take a flight to Beijing, China. Do I still need to get this "special permit" even if I already have a visa?

Your visa is all you need for Entering China.
People from most countries can enter HK and Macau without any visa for 28 days.
