Sir Alex Ferguson has published his autobiography. He firstly disclosed details of the “flying boot” incident between him and David Beckham. Well, David Beckham also mentioned the “flying boot” in his autobiography.

David didn’t think that he was the only one blamed for the second goal Arsenal scored. He thought at least half of the team should be responsible for that goal. But Sir Alex blamed him for it. All of a sudden, Alex kicked a boot that hit David’s head, which caused a cut above his eye. David was irritated and moved to his coach Alex. But he was stopped by some other players. Six Alex was definitely scared because he stepped back.

David admitted that he was out of control at that moment. But his anger only lasted for a minute and then he calmed down and went to the medical room.

What did Sir Alex Ferguson think of David Beckham? ‘David thought he was bigger than Alex Ferguson. There is no doubt about that in my mind. That was the death knell for him,’ he writes. Besides, Sir Alex felt uncomfortable with the celebrity aspect of his life. “He fell in love with Victoria – that changed everything.”, Sir Alex said at the press conference.

As a coach, Sir Alex Ferguson wants all his players to follow his directions. He wants the absolute authority. As a player, David Beckham should listen to his coach. But he is not only an ordinary player. Perhaps, fame changed him. He became a bit conceited and dare challenge his coach’s authority. As a result, his coach asked the club to kick him out of the team.
