Coming to teach for a year
Oct 26, 2013 11:58
guest35186 My husband and I are planning to take up teaching posts in a Taiyuan university for a year from February 2014. We are wondering about the lifestyle we can expect as foreigners. Are Chinese people friendly to foreigners? Will we find our lack of Mandarin a problem for travelling, shopping and dining out?

Thank you.

GUEST98171 Hello, my name is Tico, I am also going to Taiyuan to teach at TUT in March 14. May I ask how have you find your experience of the city, ppl and the Uni?

Any feedback would be most appreciated by anyone.

Hey TICO,

Are you going to teach English?
If so, study English grammar first.
You see, "in March 14" is wrong... Should be "on March 14"...

That's the way it is...I don't make the rules.
