10 medical personnel injury incidents have occured from Oct. 17 to 27.

Oct. 17
The ICU department at Shanghai Shuguang Hospital was attacked by the patients’ families.

Oct. 20
A patient quarreled with a doctor at Fengtian Hospital in Liaoning Province. Then he stabbed the doctor six times and killed himself by jumping from the eighth floor.

Oct. 21
A patient died at an ICU of a hospital in Guangzhou after emergency treatment. His families couldn’t believe the patient was dead. So they attacked the ICU department. The ICU director and the other two doctors were beaten by the patient’s families.

Oct. 22
A government official went to the ophthalmology department of the central hospital in Huanggang. A female doctor met him and suggested him taking the eyesight test in order to figure out whether his eyeballs were injured. He refused and beat the doctor badly.

Oct. 25
A patient killed a doctor and hurt two badly at the Wenling People’s Hospital. He once had a nose operation at the hospital but thought his operation wasn’t successful. Before he took his mad action, he found the doctor several times but the doctor told him that his nose was ok. He didn’t believe it. So he visited some other hospitals but got the same result.

Oct. 27
A man who uses drugs rushed into a hospital in Nanchang and abducted a nurse. The police came and arrested him. Luckily, the nurse was safe.

Hundreds of doctors gathered at the People’s Hospital in Wenling to mourn the doctor who was killed after the tragedy occurred. They also protested against the hospital violence. Their protest was supported by hundreds of hospitals in China.

It’s a tragedy but some patients didn’t think so. An old lady who went to the hospital on the same day when the doctor was killed said “those doctors who didn’t treat the patients very well should have been stabbed.” A patient uttered “Nowadays, all hospitals only care about how much money they can earn from the patients. The doctor must have done something wrong and then the patient killed him.” Another patient commented that other doctors would provide better service to the patients after the death of this doctor.

Why does the relationship between the doctors and the patients get worsen and worsen? Who should be blamed for? The patients claim that they are afraid of going to hospital because they can’t pay for the damned expensive medical treatment. The doctors argue that they don’t earn very much money though they work very hard. Sometimes, they are forced to prescribe expensive medicine or tests. If they don’t, they can’t guarantee that they will receive monthly salary. Who takes the patient’s money?

I'd like to hear more about the medical systems in the foreign countries. Previously, Russia says that fee medical treatment has provided to its people. However, some Chinese experts oppose that there is no real free medical treatment in the world. I don't know if they tell the truth.

You know, an official from the State Council airs his opinion on how to deal with empty houses. He says China should learn from Germany. If the house is empty for 3 years, double house property tax will be levied. If it is empty for 5 years, the government can arrange homeless people to live in the empty houses. If it is empty for 7 years, it will belong to the local government.

However, a German opposes that there is no such a policy in Germany. He never heard about it and couldn't find any related law.

Perhaps, some foreigners like this German guy can tell me the real medical systems in their countries.
