PEACEPAT Points: Join Date: May 21, 2005 Status: offline	i am going to be a first-time visitor to china on a church mission trip later this summer. we will be helping at an orphanage in luoyang city. while i'm there, i want to take a trip to xian to see the terra cotta warriors. here are my questions: how many miles is it? i don't want to rent a car, so am wondering if there is a train or bus i could take. also, could i do the trip in one day? if i cannot do it on my own, i will seek out a tour operators, but i wanted to try to do it myself.

DEE0228 Points: Join Date: Sep 14, 2004 Status: Offline	Surely you can do it yourself, train ticket from Luoyang to Xi'an can be easily arranged if you will not travel in a peak season.
