Get China visa not in my home country.

guest20144 Hello, I am American and will be traveling in the UK and want to apply for a tourist visa to China whilst in London. I have heard that there are some restrictions, does anyone know if this is possible or do I need to return to the US to apply for a Chinese visa? Thank you.

GUESTJOE Yes, you are required to provide proof of residence status in London if you want to apply for Chinese visa there. That is to say, temporary visitors can not get one issued there.
