From Shenzhen to Hong Kong

We're going to travel from Shenzhen to Hong Kong in the beginning of March.
We'll stay in the hotel very close the border.
What is the easiest way to Hong Kong? Is it possible to walk to other side of the border and then go MTR?

It is very easy to cross over. There is a shopping centre right by the border and you then just walk a short distance to catch the train to downtown Hong Kong. Generally find the border process goes smoothly if you have your paperwork in place.

I'd like to ask also if it's possible to cross the border by taxi? Is it allowed to China taxis to go over the border?
Yes, we have visas to China already.
