After taking the apartment keys from the real estate developer, they decided to decorate immediately. Her father was badly injured in a car accident. Due to the car accident, he can’t walk like normal persons. Consequently, the girl, her mother and her sister took the job of decorating the apartment. The boy helped them find some building decoration companies. However, his girlfriend’s parents didn’t choose one to decorate their apartment because all companies asked for too much money. Instead, they found a building decoration company on their own. Undoubtedly, that company asked less money than those introduced by the boy. When the project started, the boy came to help them every day. He almost took all the labor work but seldom gave suggestions. He thought that the girl’s parents had the final say. He couldn’t understand why she wanted to break up with him. Some warm-hearted guys who replied his thread told him the real reason. The girl thought that he was stingy. Yes, he did labor work but didn’t give a cent to his girlfriend’s parents. The boy couldn’t agree with them because he thought he was not obliged to fund them because he didn’t get married with his girlfriend. Why did he mention “marriage”? After getting married with his girlfriend, his girl’s parents become his dad and mom (parents-in-law) and he becomes their son, son-in-law strictly. The son-in-law has another name “half-son”, which reminds the son-in-law to fulfill their duties to look after their parents-in-law. They can’t compete with their parents-in-laws’ own sons but they can do 1/2 of what their sons do to take care of them. If you were the boy, would you fund your future parents-in-law for apartment decoration? |
