Indian Vegetarian food - Is it possible in Shanghai

I'll be visiting Shanghai shortly.
Is there a possibility of Indian vegetarian food in Shanghai.
Any experienced words on this count would be highly regarded. My thanks to you guys

I'm not sure if the Indian vegetarian restaurant exists in Shanghai, what i'm sure about is that there are many many indian food restaurants in the city. Among them, the most famous should be

Indian Kitchen(Yin Du Xiao Chu), #572, Yong Jia Road (between Yue Yang Lu and Ulumuqi Lu), Xuhui District Tel:64731517

and you may also try

THERE IS A RESTAURANT CALLED " CURRY MUSE" LOCATED IN THE HEART OF SHANGHAI CITY - INSIDE A THREE STAR HOTEL. I VISITED THE SAME DURING MY LAST TRIP TO SHANGHAI DECEMBER 2004.

WOULD LIKE TO THANK "HEY JUDE" FOR HIS INFO ON INDIAN RESTAURANT IN DALIAN WHICH I RECENTLY VISITED 10 DAYS AGO, ZHONGSHAN HOTEL, 38TH FLOOR REVOLVING RESTAURANT, IT WAS VERY ECONOMICAL THOUGH IT DID NOT HAVE THE AUTHENTIC INDIAN FLAVOUR, BUT BEING A SEA FOOD CITY, I REALLY FELT VERY COMFORTABLE THERE.

Dear all,
i am in shanghai now & not getting indian vegetarian food from last three days. I visited some nearby hotels but they dont know roti or chapati. i shall be very gratefull if anybody can help me in this regard.

"Hotel" is a place that offers accommodation, but not necessarily food. You're looking for a restaurant, not hotel!
There're plenty of Indian restaurants in Shanghai, but you didn't give any more information on your location.

Yes, there're Indian restaurants here but they might not be wholly vegetarian, although I'm sure they'll have vegetarian options on the menu.

You mean vegan. Yes, there're vegan restaurants but not necessarily Indian.
