DAVEC Points: Join Date: Apr 14, 2007 Status: offline	Can anyone recommend a reasonable hotel for me to stay in Hong Kong? Previously I have stayed on Kowloon side just off Nathan rd, I am not fussy with the location just need clean hotel room at a reasonable price. I wont need things like internet or food, just a bed and a shower to rest after a long day exploring.

The cheapest I found a few years ago was the Dorsett Seaview, Shanghai Street, close to Nathan Road, now called Silka Seaview. Prices around 50 GBP per night. The room we had was tiny but adequate.

If you want cheap cheap there is HK Jiang Xi Guest House, 83 Argyle St Monkok around 19 GBP per night, or HK Downtown Backpackers Chung King Mansions 36-44 Nathan Rd (around 13 GBP per night) but I have no personal experience of these.

DAVEC Points: Join Date: Apr 14, 2007 Status: Offline	I havent been to HK for about 5 years, used to stay in a small hotel off Nathan road, think it was about 300 HK$. It was small and comfortable and easy to get to other places.Cant seem to find it online anymore. Thanks Gaffer, I have heard of the Dorsett, it seems to have good reputation.
