want to marry Chinese woman

I have been talking to a Chinese woman for the last 6 months thru QQ. She has finally come to United States so we can meet. we have met and we would now like to marry. according to the marriage license bureau here in california, I can marry here with just her passport. I would like to know what I need to do after I marry here. what papers do we need to fill out and would it be a legal marriage?
