Can i apply dependent visa any where in China

VNGPLK Points: Join Date: Apr 5, 2014 Status: offline	Hello Friends, I am Indian working in Shanghai earlier , 1 week back i have been relocated to Tianjin city . I have got the residence permit valid till 15th Jan 2015 .I am bringing my wife to China on S2 visa first and later i can try to convert into dependent visa. My query is , My residence permit has been issued in Shanghai , So in that case can i apply my wife dependent visa in Tianjin or Beijing ? Or else is there any rule that i must apply the visa only in Shanghai . I am working for a Chinese local company in Shanghai , but the same company also has branch in Beijing city ..Please guide me on how to proceed.... Thanks in advance...

GUEST7382	VNGPLK, you should apply for your wife S2 type in Shanghai because your residence permit was issued in Shanghai.
