She owns her own company, house, car, etc. What must I take with me to ensure no problems with getting married and living in China with her until US Spouse and child Visa is approved? You need to acquire a single certificate (or divorce certificate) before you come to China. It is a must when you register your marriage in China. Your birth certificate is also required.

There is no American consulate in Shenzhen. You may visit American consulate in Guangzhou if you have something to do there.

You may come to China with a L type. Then you register your marriage at local civil affairs bureau. Then you may go to the entry and exit management bureau to apply for the Q1 type, which enables you to stay as long as you can in Shenzhen.
