Shanghai plum rains and typhoons

I will be living in Shanghai all summer. I know there are periods of heavy rain during the summer. I'd like to travel to Beijing for a week, but I'd like to go when the weather is bad in Shanghai. In other words, I'd like to leave Shanghai for a week during the period of most rainfall. Can anyone advise me?

The monsoon season is in June. In August, it's very hot. Maybe it rains sometime, but normally it only rains in the afternoon for a while. We call it thunder storm. However, in June, it rains day after day.

yeah,its very hot hea in Aug.u need to find ways to kool down
