changing type of visa

Hi, m a foreigner getting married to another foreigner in China. He has residence permitt for half a year and my student visa expires in the end of July this year. Will there be any problems with changing my student visa to S2 Visa (dependent visa)? Btw we r settled in Hangzhou now, but I got my student visa in Nanjing, will it also influece anyhow? Thanks for any reply.

GUEST92131 I'm not sure, but You will need to exit back to your home country, before your student visa expires, then apply for a new visa at your local Chinese consulate.

Hi,

according to my knowledge it is possible to change the visa status once without having to leave the country.
If you want to change it for a second time, you have to leave the country.
