where should I go

guest10678 I want to go to china to purchase everything I need for my house (from tiles, furniture, kitchen, sink, lighting fixtures extra extra).

should I go to guangzhou or yiwu?

I heared that guangzhou got a lot more expensive and is more mass production oriented compared to yiwu.

Is that true?

Guangzhou, you can go to wholesale market, you can buy one piece each from there.

One of my foreigner friends who bought products from the two cities said he can get better prices from Yiwu but quality a little lower than in Guangzhou or around cities. If you want to buy daily goods, accessories, garments, shoes,stationery etc. small items and want to have better price, then go to YiWU.

Construction and building materials(tiles), furniture, kitchen ware, lighting, the production base of these products are in Guangdong(Foshan Shunde, Foshan Lecong, Zhongshan, Chaozhou), cities around Guangzhou.
