I've got a 1 year multi entry visit visa with max 60 day stays and the 60 days will be up on July 9th, but I'm not needed on my job in Dubai till July 12th. Can you overstay a visa here by three days without causing an international incident? In some countries its a simple matter of just paying a small fine per day right at the customs counter. I only have 1:40 between flights in Guangzhou so don't want to get into something that will take me an hour to solve. I could take the train out to Hong Kong three days before but that would be a real pain in the ass. Has anyone done this before?

GUEST3453 I don't think that's a good idea. It might be ok if you pay some fine. However, you just have a record of over-staying, which may affect your furture applications.

GUEST92131 Use your brain, take the train to HK - better a little pain in the ass than a life time ban for overstaying.

GUEST66232 Don't overstay your visa. It is not a good idea in China.
You can go to HongKong to re-activate another 60 days, since you have a 1-year multiple-entry visa.
