guest15194 Stop believing the agents and recruiters and pay attention to Chinese visa laws or you will find yourself arrested, fined, and deported in less than 30 days! Yeah, maybe you will get lucky for a few months but you will eventually wind up like these guys here who were locked up until their fines were paid and then deported at their own expense and ar not allowed to come to China - even as a tourist for 5 years!

HI,
just to specify:
it is legal, however, to study and to do an internship in China. You can do that with an X visa.

"Whereas previously it was illegal for international students to work in China (albeit widespread), it is now legal to work providing you get permission. The new regulations stipulate that international students who wish to undertake part-time jobs should first seek permission from their school, and they will then give you the correct documentation to hand in at the exit-entry bureau so such information can be recorded in your residence permit."
