Need information what city (3 city), when (not too cold preffer in summer). hotels/ apartement. guide cost. gratefull if I can get indonesian student as a guide (more easy in langguage). thanks for your help

Hi!

According to your requirement, i'll suggest u go to Guangzhou, Shanzhen, Sanya.
1.In Guangzhou you can find all kinds of market. It's a great pleasure to shop and bargain in this shopping paradise.
2.In Shenzhen, many theme parks are worth your visit, including the window of the world, China folk culture village, Happy Valley, etc, it's a kingdom of entertainment.
3.Sanya in Hainan Island has the longest and most beautiful beach of China, it's the best choice if you wanna enjoy beach and sunshine:)

I would rule out Shenzhen straight away as it is a really built up city and nothing to be found there. Yes, I agree there is an entertainment area there, but nothing else..it would be boring for all three of you!

Surely if youre coming to China, you have to pay a visit to Beijing or Shanghai? Hainan is a good choice for beaches, but it is expensive to get there as its almost considered 'abroad' because you can only get there by plane at present.

If you want a beach and are thinking of going to Shanghai or Beijing, then I recommend Qingdao. It was a former German concession so many beautiful buildings can be found there...they have nice beaches there and far cheaper than Hainan.

In Guangzhou you can do a lot fo shopping youre right, but so you can in Shanghai and Beijing. A trip to China without seeing Yangshuo,Guilin and or Yunnan Province wouldnt be fulfilled...

If you do think of coming to Beijing, I can maybe find an Indonesian person to show you round the sights.

Hope you can decide where you want to go without too much difficulty..China is too big!!!

I will find out more information thru this web regarding the places you mention, then I will decide. one more information regarding the food there, I'm Moeslem, is there any difficulty to find halal food or at least mc donald, or chinese food for Moeslem. your information is highly appreciated regards

CHINACHICK Points: Join Date: May 23, 2005 Status: Offline	There are plenty of muslim restaurants in beijing at least..im sure you can find some in the other cities I mentioned too. And yes unfortunatley, there are plenty of McDonalds EVERYWHERE!!! Ha ha!!!
