extension of F visa

guest48654 I am indonesian and I am in china now for doing a project as a volunteer
I have F visa for 30 days
My duration of stay in china will be run out at september 3 but the end of my project is september 9
Can I get the extension of my visa ? Where can I get it ? What document I need to apply for the extension ? And how much it costs ?
Need help urgently

You may try to extend our F visa from the local entry and exit managment department or bureau. Please submit your extension at least 7 days before it expires. It requires your passport, current F visa, accommodation registration form, a recent passport size photo and a proof that proves you really need to extend your current F type. It should stamped by your the unit who hires you as a volunteer.

You may visit the entry and exit management bureau in advance to confirm if there are any other required documents. According to what I know, it costs around CNY 160.
