You dont know when to use "没“ and "不".....

hàn yǔ and zhōng wén
what are the differences between "汉 语” and“ 中 文”..

Writing the chinese characters is very difficult. and the pronunciation as well because if you pronouce it wrongly, it could change the meaning.

GUEST19312 haha, and sometimes it could be pretty embarrassing if you pronouce the characters wrongly, but that's for when you only say the characters, if you use a quiet complete sentence people will get it

GUEST38252 When you run across a word you don't know, you can't sound it out like English. It will also take like 10 minutes to look up the word in the dictionary if there are a lot of strokes (You won't be able to use pinyin since you don't know how to pronounce the word.) Also, words run together without separation like English. Something like: 我应该学汉语。
Which could be written: 我 应该 学 汉语。But that is a simple sentence, but if you are in a longer sentence, you are not sure when one word ends and another word begins.
When you learn a word, it is not always used like the pinyin. Like 什么. You learn that the pinyin for it is shen me. But when you actually listen to people, they pronounce it she me (no n sound).
Well, writing is also pretty difficult. But I am not too concerned about writing since most of the time now I just punch in the pinyin and choose the word.
There are also a million ways to use 就 and 才.

I am sure there are more if I think about it.
