How long does it take to travel from Shanghai Railway Station to Pudong Airport

I am travelling from Suzhou to Shanghai and my flight at Pudong is 9:45 am on a Saturday morning. I am wondering how fast can I go from the station to the airport and which is the best way to do it. By the way, my train from Suzhou will arrive in Shanghai at 7:30am

I am afraid that you may not have enough time if you arrive and take international flight that departs at 07:30. For international flights, the passengers are usually required to arrive at the airport around 3 hours before it departs. The check-in procedure will be closed 30 to 45 minutes before it flies out.

The safest way is to go to shanghai one night in advance. Then you should take a taxi to the airport very early from your hotel.

Anyway, if you insist on taking that train, you should take a taxi immediately when you arrive at Shanghai Railway Station. I am not sure which railway station you will arrive at. If you arrive at Shanghai Railway Station, it takes around one hour. If Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, it takes 50 to 70 minutes. Please understand that it will take longer time if you encounter traffic jam.
