Highway Chengdu-Danba-Tagong is safe?

Hi. I'm organizing a 4 days trip to Garze area from Chengdu by northside (Qingcheng Shan - Danba - Tagong)... returning from Kanding by the south passing through Ya'an, where there is the big highway. My question is if the first highway (Chengdu-Qingcheng-Danba-Tagong) is safe to go with a coach or not? There is any problem? Do you think it's dangerous?

As i konw there is no highway to Danba and kangding(Highway just from Chengdu To Ya'an),blacktop is primary way in ur trip,I think its safe to go with a coach if u have a good road sense,pay more attention to across jokul.
