Expired Existing Z work visa want to apply renewal or new visa without work permit

Points: Join Date: Jul 22, 2013 Status: offline	Hi, I am already existing z visa expired on 8 th July 2014 , now I am located my home country India . now I got job offer in Guangzhou ,china. my hr ask to submit cancellation work permit but my old company not ready to submit my cancellation work permit .please let me know without work permit how could I get new work permit ? Thanks

Normally, your employer should assist you to apply for the work permit. If your work permit is still valid, you can ask your new employer to help you to extend it at the local labor bureau. Then you can use it to apply for the Z type. If they ask you to cancel it but your previous employer can't help you do that, you may wait for its expiration and apply for a new one with the help of your current employer.
