Does anybody use any smartphone apps for travelling around China? I would like to find a nav app with accurate compass, a one that won't let me get lost both in the rural area or in a big city. It would be perfect to be able to pinpoint different spots, like a hotel in a new place in order to find it again.

I think you can download AutoNavi -高德地图，I think its the best map app for travellers in China.

I love using Spyglass in China and all over the world. You can download maps and use them even offline. The compass is extremely accurate and it's hard to get lost with this app.
