| From the beginning of May for around 28 days me and 3 friends will be traveling China. We plan on going to Beijing - Pingyao - Xi'An - Tianshui - Dunhuang then returning to Xi'An to go to the Philippines. In Beijing we plan to see all major sites: Forbidden City Summer Palace Great Wall (Camping) Jingshan Park Temple of Heaven Pingyao we pretty much wanted to just enjoy the city and possibly head up to Mianshan, though I'm have a difficult time finding information on it. Xi'An is the basics: Terracotta Warriors City Walls Pagodas Muslim District Tianshui is also a bit of a question mark. I'm finding it impossible to find hostels near by and I'm hoping there's "hidden" attractions, not just Maiji Shan. And Dunhuang we've also done before: Sand Dune Park/Oasis Camping etc.. I'm wondering if this is simply overkill and whether we should buy all of our train tickets here before we even leave the US? Thank you! |
