Taxis in China, I don't speak any Chinese

guest15695 If you don't speak Chinese, is it possible to communicate with taxi drivers? Should you have the address you going to written in Chinese characters?

GUESTNINA_WANG Even in big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, taxi drivers only speak simple English. In case you confront any problem, I'd suggest you have the Chinese characters of your destination in advance.

Don't worry most taxi driver can speak English. Chinese name of your destination or hotel or address is a good option.
