I'm pretty desperate to get some CDs when I'm in Shanghai within the next couple of weeks (my iPod ran out of juice a long time ago...), and wondered if there are any record stores in the city. I know that there are alot of chinese music shops, but I haven't seen anybody selling newish or obscure western bands. For the record, the kind of things I'm looking for are: The Mars Volta Love Simon and Garfunkel Etc. If anybody could help, I'd be forever grateful. Thanks, Josh

DEE0228 Points: Join Date: Sep 14, 2004 Status: Offline	i heard there is a newly opened shopping center specialized in audiovisual products,that's definitely a cool place for searching all kinds of CDs, tapes, records,vcds,dvds etc. the shopping center is in Qiujiang Road, Zhabei District. the first floor is the retailing area and the second floor is for wholesale selling.

BARI Points: Join Date: May 8, 2005 Status: Offline	Fifth Floor in Shanghai Book Mall on Fuzhou Street there is a nice place for CD shopping.
