I'm having trouble with accommodation as because of visa issues left it too late to book cheap online places, now the only ones left that do online booking/have phone numbers seem to be more expensive hotels. I'm obviously expecting to pay a bit over the odds for accommodation given the busy period, but am still looking for a cheaper guesthouse/hostel option within commutable distance of Jinghong - really not fussy as to standard, just need somewhere to sleep! Was hoping someone might be able to give me some advice of the best way of finding somewhere/suggestions of places they have stayed/village or general area where I can start looking when I arrive. Any help or experience with the area at all much appreciated!!
