hi, i am coming to china for the first time how do i get to travel around by train is it like in dubai where you buy a card that has credit on it and you just swipe or??

GUEST78990 Mopps, in China, you should buy the train tickets at the railway station with your valid document (Passport). Then you need to hold your train ticket and passport to enter the railway station to take your train. There is no card for you to use.

If you take high speed train, you need to insert your train ticket before you cross the barrier. It's just like taking a subway. However, it you hold original style tickets in light pink background, you need to let the staff to check your ticket.

You needn't worry about this. Just follow others to go through the barrier. It's very easy.

No, you need to buy paper ticket, also can go by bus
