Need Help to Visit Beijing from Shantou

Hello Anyone...nihao
I had plan to visit Beijing from Shantou-Guangdong
I wanna try to using High Speed Train within 3-4 Days returned (Stay one night in Beijing)
Please advice, if possible i'll be going tommorow noon/ night (25-04-2015) at 17.00

There is no direct train between Shantou and Beijing. You may go from Shantou to Guangzhou first and then use high speed train from there. From Shantou to Guangzhou, you may take T8362 train that departs at 12:20 and arrives 19:45. Then you can take high speed train that departs on 08:24 next morning.
