![]() | I'm in the same boat. We are planning an independent tour. We will use a visa service since this will be our first visa and it is cheaper than driving to the Chinese Embassy in Houston. As I understand it you need one of three things: 1. An invitation from a tour service. 2. An invitation from a Chinese resident. or 3. Copies of your e-ticket, hotel reservations and itinerary. I plan to make plane reservations (the most expensive to change but easiest to determine the dates), and book hotels that can be changed without too much of a penalty in case our schedule changes. Then I will outline our trip plans and send everything to the visa service. Thank goodness there are 10 year visas now. |
