Should selfie sticks be banned at these popular scenic spots?

With the sticks in hands, they never bother others to help them take photos. All they just need to do is to fix their smartphones or digital cameras on the selfie sticks and press the button to shoot photos. Unfortunately, many museums have forbidden the visitors to use the selfie sticks. Some other scenic spots including Tokyo Disney Land and Beijing Forbidden City have banned the use of the selfie sticks. The museums don’t allow visitors to use the selfie sticks because they are worried that they might cause damages to the precious relics. However, why Tokyo Disneyland learns from the museums? According to the management team, they forbid the use of the selfie sticks and tripods for the sake of other travelers. In their opinion, these things may cause inconvenience for other travelers. More importantly, Japanese people attach great importance to their personal privacy. They don’t like themselves shown in other people’s photos. What do you think?
