KCR train in Kowloon to Shenzhen

I understand KCR train is best way to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen. We will be staying at New World Renaissance Hotel in Kowloon and need to travel to Hi-tech Fair Exhibition Center in Shenzhen. Is there a place near our hotel to purchase train ticket to Shenzhen? How long is the train ride? Thanks for the assistance!
