Losing work permit in China. How to get home?

guestGuestFrances	If I am working in China and lose my work permit & job, I think that makes my Z visa invalid? If this was to happen, would I be deported, or would I have to find the money from somewhere for a flight back to the UK (my home country). I am worried because the wages in China are very low compared to UK and short-notice flights are very expensive, so it would be hard to save enough money in a short time for a flight home.
