Visiting INDIA for H1B stamping and Layover at Hong Kong can i visit ?

guest32227	Hi I am an INDIAN residing in USA on H1B Visa, My VISA has expired this October and i have received my Approval Petetion, i am visiting INDIA to get my VISA stamping done and i have a layover in Hongkong for a day, i see that for INDIANs there is a 14 day Visa free period, but as i dont have a valid US visa on my passport , can i still enter Hong Kong ? Please advise. I have read that Asian countried and Middle east countries do not have this requirement of mandatory VISA stamp on Passport while in transit.

GUEST5684	You can still enter HK even you don't have US visa on your passport. I didn't hear that such a requirement was implemented. If you are still worried, you can make a call to HK Immigration Department to confirm this. Tel: (852) 3160 8663
