guest09041	Hello there! Good day! I'm planning my visit in Beijing China on December 20, 2015 up to December 28, 2015. The problem is that my residency visa in Abu Dhabi will expire on February 9, 2016. I just want to ask if I am eligible to get a tourist visa to Beijing? If i am eligible to get a the visa, can i apply now or it's to early for to get one for the planned date? Thank you!

Hey, I am afraid that you may not be able to apply in Abu Dhabi since your resident permit is valid for 3 months. Usually, it requires that the resident permit should be valid for six months at least.

I think you might try to contact Chinese embassy there to confirm this. If they say no, then you have no choice but get back to your country to apply. Since your trip actually starts on Dec. 20, you needn't apply so early. The embassy suggests that the applicants apply around one month early ahead of their trips.
