Zhongshan city in Guangdong province was awarded as the China Amusement Rides Industrial Base on Oct, 9th, 2008. There are about 50 amusement manufacturers here, including some leading ones with turnovers up to CNY 100 million, namely, Zhongshan Golden Horse Amusement, Golden Dragon Amusement, Zhongshan Universal Space, and G-Look Amusement etc. The Zhongshan Amusement Game Association (ZAGA) was found by the municipal government in 2007.Nine of ten of the nation’s game machines and six of ten of the nation’s amusement equipments are made in zhongshan. Jiangmen, Guandong, the second Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Hometown Comic-con, will allocate a special fund of 5 million yuan to support local animation & games industry.
