i am currently with a student visa in beijing (valid until February)
I wanted to go to North korea in January by train but since i only have a single entry visa i cant reenter to china. therefore, can i apply for a tourist visa? when i change my visa to a second entry what will be needed to do?
If after going to north korea, i leave china within 24 hours, i can make use of an 72 hous visa, but i needed to fly back from north korea (which is very expensiv which is why i try to avoid this)
Is there another possiblitiy?
Do you guys know another cheap way to korea (3-4 days), the cheapest trip i found was 4600 RMB (without fly back) and 6300 RMB (with flyback, approximately 1000 Euros)

Honestly, I am not sure if you can apply successfully for a tourist type in North Korea. It requires your return air ticket from China to your country, hotel booking confirmation in China and your valid entry permit to North Korea.
Perhaps, you might consult with the Chinese embassy in North Korea in advance to confirm if you can apply there.
