Hi
I will be taking the train from Hong Kong to Beijing in November. Can you suggest somewhere to stop for a few days along the way which is:
On the train line
Is not too touristy
Is old fashioned chinese
has some interesting sights
has cheap place to stay and good chinese food
has a nice bar :)

I know there is an express train from HK to Beijing, but i'm afraid you can not get off in the halfway:(
