guestTony Lim	I am an English-speaking Chinese in Canada with Hainanese parents but due to lack of practice since young I speak limited or basic Hainanese.Now I like to catch up with this dialect and to improve my Mandarin (which is more fluent than Hainanese) to enjoy frequent vacations in Hainan and to know my roots. So I wonder if there is anyone in Hainan familiar with this challenge and can guide me on this subject before I plan my stay there in June for say a month.Homestay may be an option.I can help you with English if you like in exchange. I am retired and like to see Hainan at a leisurely pace.
