guest94172	Hello, I have a return flight from the UK to China that lasts 2 weeks, within the second week, I intend to get a return flight from PEK to KUL (Kuala Lumpar) to arrive back in PEK to make my flight back to the UK (without exiting the airport at PEK), is this a single visa or a two entry visa that I need? Also, if the flight from PEK to KUL has a brief stopover in a different Chinese city, lets say PEK > XIA > KUL, does that class as another visa entry if I want to exit the airport? Or is it only when entering China from foreign soil? Thanks

GUEST66754	A single entry one is ok. As long as you exit for KUL before your visa expires, you needn't apply for any other type even you will have a stop at other Chinese cities.

GUEST94172	Thank you, I spoke to the visa department, PEK > XIA and leave airport is okay. KUL > XIA and leave airport would be classed as second entry based on original entry in PEK.

Your route is fine. But I don't know where you are from. You know, just people from 51 countries enjoy 72 hours free transit. If you are qualified, you needn't apply for a tourist type in advance. To enjoy free transit, you should bring your passport and onward air ticket to HK. If you are required to apply for a visa for HK, then you should have it in advance too.
