What happens if I overstay my Visa period

Please help me, assuming I overstay my Visa in China for a period of a month or two more after visa has expired, what do I do? Pls help.

You should report yourself to local police station as soon as you can. According to related regulation, you might be fined CNY 10000. It's likely that you might be detained for 5 to 15 days too.

I wouldn't recommend that you overstay in China as this can affect your visa application in the future. There is usually a fine depending on how long you overstay. If you cannot provide a good reason to why you are overstaying then your future Chinese visa applications may be rejected.

If you are a British passport holder you can now get a 2 year multiple entry visa valid for 90 days. This policy started literally this week as of 11th January 2016.
