| Hello to all thats reading this Im a 23 year old from South Africa thats here in China on a X visa. I came to the university, registered to study, and then i had to pay fees obviously. I knew i required a residence permit within 30 days of entry, the university was obviously lenient with me not paying university fees taking in consideration im a new student in a foreign country. So they had given me a residence permit for 3 months. Turns out im a self financed student and the bursary that i had to receive from my country did not come threw Sad The following events occurred. 1. My residence permit expired on the 30th December 2015 2. I couldn't change my return flight before the 31st January 2016 cause of my airline tier. 3. I overstayed my visa by 30 days (currently) and knew the consequences 4. I went to the airport and they demanded 10,000RMB + 10 year blacklist in China. 5. I decided to come back to my university, and they told me to meet the Head of local Police station in the district where i reside to pay a fine. which I did, I paid 2500rmb (i got the proof))((I got lucky)) 6. I then go back to the university and now they demanding me to pay university fees which i cannot afford at all to get a new visa. I did contact my countries embassy in Beijing, They cannot help me. CURRENTLY. I contacted the head of the police station and told him cannot afford the university fees and that i would like to go back to my home country with the utmost respect in not offending China. His response, " You must pay tuition in order to obtain a visa. If you are unable to get a visa, and cause secondary illegal residence, I will be sentenced to detention, and then be freed after i pay for tution What will happen next? Has there ever been a student in my predicament? Is there anyone out there to assist, or give me solutions. Im willing to pay for your assistance I am open minded with an adequate sum of cash at my disposal What are all my options to leave China Regards Yusuf 13011714220 outlook.com|yusufp1111 Quote |
