guestMonkey	I hold a Bangladeshi passport. Currently living in Shanghai with my girl friend . My first Chinese visa was a 1 month L visa wirh single entry . After I went back ... Right now I am on a 6 months L visa with double entry . Duration of stay 30 days on each entry of course. I am really sick of travelling every 30 days to renew my L visa . I am wondering if I admit to a Chinese language school can I change my L to a X visa without leaving mainland ? Anybody in Shanghai have any experience doing so ? Thank a lot. This community has been very helpful

GUEST04154	Well, it's possible to change your L type into X type visa if the school can offer all required documents for you. I once heard someone say their school can handle all the visa affairs for them and change the L visa to X visa. So I think you can consult this with your school or go to the local PSB in Shanghai and see if they can do the X visa for you without leaving China.
