Mr Jim Halpin, working in China, tax pay
Feb 20, 2016 03:26
guest15722 I am a US Citizen considering a position with a US company representing them in a number of ASIA countries.
My income is US social security, IRA distributions and US payroll with US withholdings.
I would live in the US and China about 50% of the time equally.
My residence in China is with a Z visa based on my wife Chinese citizenship.
Am I liable for China taxes, and if so for what portion of my income?

If you are being paid in US and have no income in China, you would not be liable for any taxes in China.
