Plan route, Kunming -> Lijiang -> Zhong Dian -> Lijiang -> Kunming At present i have problems arranging transportation from Lijian to ZhongDian. Heard that ZhongDian is the "official shangrila" and would love to visit the place for a day or two. Appreciate if i could get some feedback on the followings from the other travellers 1. How many days to i actually need for ZhongDian? 2. Is it easy to arrange for a short trip to ZongDIan when we are in Lijiang? Thanks

DEE0228 Points: Join Date: Sep 14, 2004 Status: Offline	I think a 2-day trip is enough. the transport can be easily arranged by yourself. There minibus from Lijiang to Zhongdian . it takes 5-6 hours and costs about 50yuan per person. Tiger leaping gorge and Lu Gu Lake are both highly recommended.
