My plan for "28th MARCH / 2016" 1) Take the train G507 from Beijing to Zhengzhou Dong (East) - arriving at 10:07AM. 2) Take a taxi or book a driver or a tour-guide in Zhengzhou Dong (East) at 10:07AM 3) They would drive us to the Shaolin Temple 4) After we visit the Shaolin Temple, taxi to drive us back to Zhengzhou Dong (East) to catch train back to Beijing G558 departing at (20:41 Mar.28, 2016). Basically a day round trip Beijing to Shaolin Temple and back... Could you recommend me how to book (taxi or a driver or a tour-guide) and where, to come and pick us up at Zhengzhou Dong (East) at 10:07AM on "28th MARCH / 2016" ?? thanks Peter

Oh, your plan is doable. After getting to Zhengzhou East, directly hire a taxi or private car to Shaolin Temple and the round trip costs CNY300-500. To book a local taxi, you may dial 86-0371-68881188 for a try. Ask the driver to pick you up outside the Arrival Hall. The only concern is that I am not sure if English service is available on phone. Well, private cars are easily accessible outside the rail station. By that, remember to negotiate a flat rate before boarding. Wish you a good trip!
